It is given as an infusion (intravenous infusion) or as a direct injection into a vein or muscle under the supervision of a medical professional. Your doctor will calculate the right dose for you. Use regularly at regular intervals as directed by your doctor. Do not miss a dose and discontinue treatment permanently, even if you feel better. If the drug is stopped too n soon, the infection may return or worsen.
